Acts of Kindness over the Easter Break

Mrs Wyatt challenged The Lyceum pupils to try and think about others during the Easter break by doing acts of kindness. Mrs Wyatt herself has helped her elderly neighbour by making them some delicious hot meals and some children have followed in her footsteps!

Hugo’s grandad turned 80 years old over Easter, who is currently isolating alone. Hugo surprised him by playing ‘Happy Birthday’ on his french horn underneath his grandad’s balcony. He further surprised his grandad by getting quite a few strangers to send his grandad letters so he wouldn’t spend it totally alone. Well done Hugo, you have made a milestone birthday for your grandad very special!

Well done to Dylan who was extra kind looking after his 2-year-old neighbour whilst their mother went into labour. They built dens together and played lots of games! Well done Dylan for being an older role model!

A lot of our children have been especially kind to their parents. This is a very hard time for parents having to juggle their own workload as well as helping their children with virtual learning. Many children have been helping out with household chores. Well done!

Well done to Noah and Lucy who have sent us photos of rainbows that they have drawn outside of their houses to show their support for key workers and make them smile when they walk past!
