Having trained at Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts, graduating with Teaching Qualifications from the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance (ISTD) in Ballet, Tap and Modern, Miss Haynes has worked in a variety of roles across the Entertainment Industry. Over the last 20 years this included Choreographer, Dancer and Children’s Entertainer. This culminated in 2019 where she had the pleasure of working in a 5 star resort in Egypt, being responsible for 42 Entertainers and producing West End quality shows with professional singers and dancers.
In addition, Miss Haynes taught as a dance teacher in the UK when time would allow, teaching children aged 4 all the way up to adults. With a BA (Hons) in Mathematics and Statistics, and a career which has always involved children in some way, teaching in a school setting seemed like a natural progression. After her first year at The Lyceum, Miss Haynes became our club coordinator and last summer gained her Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) status. During her time at The Lyceum Miss Haynes has immensely enjoyed assisting the older pupils through the 11+ process, in particular the Non Verbal and Verbal Reasoning.
In her spare time she loves reading, completing puzzles, playing tennis and spending time with her recently adopted cat.
