Gigi and Merlin meet a Paralympic Footballer

This week, The Lyceum’s Athletes of the term (Genevieve and Merlin in Year 6) had the privilege of a Q and A session with professional sportsman Jack Rutter. Jack is a GB Paralympic Footballer and was captain of the England Cerebral Palsy team. Jack was due to become a professional footballer until an unprovoked assault led to him suffering brain damage. Jack captained the CP Team at the Paralympic Games in Rio 2016. On Wednesday, he shared his story with GG and Merlin and talked about some of his current work whilst answering questions on his career, success stories and motivations!
