Year 2 continued their outdoor learning with a visit to Kew Gardens.

They took part in a workshop which gave them insight into the wide variety of minibeasts and carnivorous plants in the world. The children had to investigate how a fly was injured as there was evidence of slime at the crime scene! Some thought it was the work of a slug, others a fly trap, but in fact it was a sundew plant.

Such a fun adventure!
