We wish everyone in The Lyceum community a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
This week we have been full of Christmas spirit and have been spreading it far and wide.
Monday saw our School Houses compete in a Christmas-themed performance for their last chance to earn some important final points. We heard everything from a heartfelt acoustic song to an enthusiastic rendition of Feliz Navidad.
The children in Reception left the teachers and parents in awe as they performed this year’s Nativity show last Friday to their heart’s content and sang the songs in perfect sync. They were so excited to perform in front of their families, as well as the rest of The Lyceum children, and absolutely loved putting on their costumes and showing off their super acting skills.
We then enjoyed a trio of caroling days: on Tuesday our Year 5s and 6s spent the afternoon singing at Westport Care Home, much to the delight of the residents! On Wednesday, we held our annual Carol Concert then on Thursday they brightened up office workers’ days with more carols at Aldgate House.
