The Lyceum’s Eco Council have been busy hosting a whole school Sustainability Week this week, shining the light on key issues facing our children’s future.
Throughout the week our Eco Warriors – supported by Eco Champion Miss Graden – led a number of initiatives: they cleaned up our streets with a litter pick, wrote thought provoking eco poetry, created plastic pollution awareness posters, held a ‘lights out/no tech day’ and even strutted their stuff down the catwalk at an eco-fashion show.
The whole school also welcomed the Dukes Education Sustainability Director, Di Booth, to lead our final assembly and cement our learning. We are so excited to see what we’ll do next as we work to be better global citizens in a more sustainable world.
Do you have any tips on how the school could be more sustainable? Let us know!
