Years 3 and 4 had a very interesting first week back with a visit from some very special people who had travelled all the way from Ancient Rome. We met Boudicca, Queen of the Iceni Tribe, who told us about her rebellion against the Roman army. We met some rich and some poor Romans who asked us to help them solve some puzzles and taught us about how many of the words we still speak today date back to Latin, the language of the Romans.
What a great day!
