Year 5 trip to the Natural History Museum

On Wednesday 16th October Year 5 went to the Natural History Museum. We took the circle line from Liverpool Street Station and got off at South Kensington. The first thing we did in the museum was look at small fossils in a timeline. The youngest fossils were 65 million years old! After, we saw the Ichthyosaur and Plesiosaur found by Mary Anning in Lyme Regis. Next we traveled up an escalator and through a model of Earth. We looked at volcanoes and felt an earthquake in a simulator. Overall we had a really, really fun time.
