Reflecting on my journey thus far…..from the Lyceum to Westminster!
I think the Lyceum has really helped me get to where I am now. This is down to the fact that the school teaches us through topic based learning. I got to learn each topic in depth, for example when we did WWII, we learnt about the history, geography, science, art, music surrounding this period. Through drama, we put on our own play about lives in WWII. Through the research of our family history, the topic gained scope and depth. I learnt how to research and applied critical thinking. At Westminster, I have continued to use these skills that I have developed earlier on. I feel more knowledgeable especially in subjects such as history, geography and RE.
